Your privacy and security are very important to us, and we are pleased to explain how we collect and use information about you. This document is intended to help you understand the following:

  • The information we collect;
  • How we use the information we collect;
  • How we share the information we collect;
  • How we store the information we collect and keep it secure;
  • Other important privacy practices;
  • Our privacy policy concerning children;
  • Changes to the Privacy Policy;
  • How to contact us;

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies throughout your use of Gizzap products and services or your access to and use of Gizzap by other means, except where a separate privacy agreement or policy notice applies. This Policy also explains your right to decide whether to allow us to collect your behavioral data. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not access or use our services or interact with any other aspect of our business. When we refer to “Gizzap” or “we” in this Policy, we mean 广州积智涌现数字科技有限公司. Gizzap provides SaaS services and big-data and AI intelligent automation tools, including our websites, desktop and mobile products, and products provided to you through other platforms. These products help you manage marketing projects, improve business efficiency, manage collaboration and communicate with others. We also own and operate multiple websites and software products and provide related services. In this Policy, we refer to all these products, together with our other services and websites, as the “Services”.

II. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us, including information generated when you use our Services and information provided to us by other sources, as described below

_Information you provide to us_

We collect data that you directly enter and submit on our websites or in our Services.

1 Account and profile information: We collect information about you when you register an account, create or modify your profile, set preferences, register for or make purchases through the Services. For example, we collect the contact information you provide when registering for the Services and, in some cases, billing information. You may also choose to add a profile photo, biography and other details to your profile for display in our Services. When you change or select personal preferences, we continue to obtain and track those preferences.

2 Content you provide through our products: Through the Gizzap web pages, browser extensions, desktop and mobile products you use, we collect and store content you post, send, receive and share. This content includes any information about you or information you choose to include. It also includes files and links you upload to the Services. The content we collect and store includes files attached to tasks; task lists; the names of projects, lists or enterprises; task descriptions; your comments in tasks, shares and files; and uploaded images, emojis and files.

3 Information you provide through our websites: We also collect information you submit through websites and social media that we own and operate. For example, we collect content you provide when you give feedback or participate in surveys with interactive features, promotions, sweepstakes or events.

4 Information you provide through our support channels: We also collect questions and information you submit through our customer support or other support services. When you open our customer-support chat window or email, the system asks you to provide contact information, details of the problem, screenshots and any other documents, screen captures or information that may help resolve it.

5 Payment information: When you register for certain paid services, we collect certain payment and billing information. For example, when you pay for our products, we ask you to specify your name and contact information. You may also provide payment-account information, such as a bank card number.

Information automatically collected when you use the Services

When you browse and use our Services, such as browsing websites or performing actions on web pages, we automatically collect certain information about you.

6 Your behavior in our products: When you access and interact with any of our Services, we track certain information about you. This includes the features you use, such as clicking tasks, selecting teams or clicking other links; data and attachments you upload to the Services; frequently used search terms; and how you interact with others in the products. We also collect information about the teams and people you collaborate with and how you interact with them, such as the people you collaborate and communicate with most frequently.

7 Device and connection information: When you use our Services, we collect information about your computer, phone, tablet or other devices used to access them. This includes connection types and settings when you install, access, update or use our Services. We also collect information through your devices about your operating system, browser type, IP address, referring/exit page URLs, device identifiers and application-crash data. We use your IP address and country or region preferences to estimate your location so that we can provide a better service experience. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services.

8 Cookies and other tracking technologies: Gizzap and our third-party partners, such as analytics partners, use cookies and other tracking technologies, such as web tracking events, to identify you. A cookie is a text-only information string that a website transfers to the browser's cookie file on your computer's hard drive so that the website can remember your identity and other details. Cookies may be set by a website or originate from third parties such as advertisers. Cookies themselves are not used or intended to read information from a user's computer, other than the contents of the cookie itself. A cookie is simply an identifier originally placed on your hard drive by a website. The same server can retrieve the cookie's actual contents to identify the computer and then customize, track or control use of the site based on information stored on the host server. We use these tracking methods to help you use Gizzap more effectively and to help us improve the corresponding features. You can choose to accept or reject cookies by changing your browser settings, but if you disable cookies, you will be unable to use the interactive features of Gizzap.

Information we collect from other sources

We receive information about you from other users of the Services, other third-party services and related companies, and our business and channel partners.

9 Other users of the Services: Other users of our Services may submit content containing information about you. For example, they may write your name in task notes or mention information about you in a chat. We also receive email addresses from other service users to invite you to join the Services. Similarly, your enterprise administrator may designate you as a project or team administrator by entering your email address or phone number so that your team members can contact you when needed.

10 Other services you link to your account: When you use platforms such as Tiktok/Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Youtube, Instagram or ChatGPT and authorize an account connection, the information we receive when linking or integrating our Services with third-party services depends on the settings, permissions and privacy policies controlled by that third-party service. You should therefore always review the privacy settings and notices of those third-party services to understand what data may be disclosed to us or shared with our Services.

11 Partners of Gizzap: We work with various partners to provide single sign-on, data integration, training and other services around our products and our partners' products. Some of these partners also help promote our products, bring us sales leads and resell our products. We receive information from these partners, such as billing information, technical contact information, company names and products in which you are interested.

12 When you activate a membership or purchase other value-added services on our websites, apps or mini programs, payment functionality is required. During payment, we collect information such as your third-party payment channel. This information is necessary for us to provide the products or services you purchase, and we cannot obtain information about your personal assets from this information alone. We also collect order-related information, including transaction amounts, payment times, order numbers, order statuses, payment methods and payment statuses. We collect this information to help you complete transactions, secure your transactions, query order information and receive customer service.

13 When you use our Services, we may obtain your mobile phone number and email address to send you emails and SMS notifications. If you do not wish to receive these messages, you may turn off notifications by following the relevant instructions. If you refuse to provide the information described in this paragraph, you will only be unable to receive notifications from us; this will not affect your normal use of other product or service features.

14 If a product or service requiring collection of your personal information is not described in this Policy, or if we go beyond the stated purposes of collection or a scope directly or reasonably related to those purposes, we will explain this separately before collecting and using your personal information. We will do so through updates to this Policy, page notices, pop-ups, in-site messages, website announcements or other easily accessible means, provide a way for you to choose whether to consent, and collect and use the information only after obtaining your express consent.

III. How We Use the Information We Collect

How we use the information we collect depends in part on which Services you use, how you use them and the preferences you set. The following are the specific purposes for which we use information collected about you

1 To provide better services and a personalized experience: We use information about you to provide the Services, including identifying where you log in, determining what user support to provide, and operating and maintaining the Services as a whole. For example, we use the name and images you provide in your account to identify you to other service users, such as through an avatar. Our Services also personalize your experience and customize features to improve your efficiency in using Gizzap. Automated analysis and computation improve others' ability to communicate and collaborate with you, helping you and your team build stronger and more accurate connections. We may use your email domain to infer your affiliation with a particular organization or industry and personalize the content and experience you receive on our websites.

2 For research, development and iteration: We continually seek ways to make our Services smarter, faster, safer, more integrated and more effective to improve your experience. We learn collectively about how people use our Services and continuously gather feedback directly from users to troubleshoot problems and identify product trends, usage, activity patterns and ways to integrate and improve the Services. For example, with each iteration and update, we record usage of new features and users' usage journeys to design better, more user-friendly features. In some cases, we provide this survey and research data to relevant research institutions for more in-depth product and academic research.

3 To communicate with you better: We use your contact information to send transactional messages by email and through the Services, including confirming purchases, reminding you that subscriptions are expiring, responding to comments, questions and requests, providing customer support, and sending updates, notices and alerts. Depending on your settings, we send email notifications when you or others interact within the Services, for example when someone mentions you in a task or adds you to a task.

4 For technical services: We use your information to resolve technical problems you encounter, respond to requests for assistance, analyze crash information, and repair and improve the Services. If you allow us to do so, we share your information with Gizzap technical experts to respond to support-related requests.

5 To strengthen security and authentication: We use information about you and your use of the Services to verify accounts and activities, monitor suspicious or fraudulent activity, and determine whether service policies have been violated.

6 To protect our legitimate business interests and legal rights: Where required by law or where we consider it necessary to protect our legal rights and interests and the legitimate interests of others, we use information about you in connection with legal proceedings, compliance, regulatory and audit functions, and disclosures relating to acquisitions, mergers or sales of a business.

IV. How We Share the Information We Collect

We develop and provide collaboration tools that we hope will help you work more effectively. This also means that we share collected information through the Services or through third parties. We share information collected about you in the ways described below, including information relating to possible business transfers, but we promise never to sell your information to advertisers or other third parties. Sharing with other users of the Services:

For collaboration and cooperation: You may create tasks or other content containing your information and grant others access or permission to share, edit, copy and download it. When you share or interact with particular content, certain collaboration features of the Services display some or all of your profile information to other service users. For example, when you comment on a task, we display your profile picture and name next to the comment so that other users with access to the task know who made it. Similarly, when you join a team or organization, your name, profile picture and contact information appear in other team members' lists so that they can find and interact with you. Please note that some tasks or projects can be made public, meaning any content posted to that project, including information about you, can be viewed publicly. You can review your project settings at any time to confirm whether a particular project is public.

Sharing with partners

To provide the Services, we may share your order information, account information, device information and location information with third parties such as partners that help us operate, improve, integrate, customize, support and market the Services, so that the Services can be successfully provided to you. However, we share your personal information only for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific and clearly defined purposes, and share only information necessary to provide the Services. We also strictly supervise and manage our partners. If we discover that a partner processes personal information in violation of requirements, we immediately stop cooperating with it and hold it legally responsible. If our affiliates wish to change the purposes for processing personal information, they will seek your authorization and consent again.

1 Third-party applications: You, your administrator or other service users may choose to add new functionality or work by enabling an application center within the Services. Doing so may allow third-party applications to access your account and information about you, such as your name and email address, and any content you choose to associate with those applications. We do not control third-party application policies or procedures, and this Privacy Policy does not cover how third-party applications use your information.

2 Links to third-party websites: The Services may contain links to other websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from ours. Please note that your use of, and any information you submit to, a third-party website is governed by its privacy policy, not ours.

3 Affiliated companies: We may share your personal information with companies we own or operate. We also share collected information with affiliates to improve products and services and provide other affiliated services to you.

4 Other circumstances: We may also disclose your personal information if a company sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event occurs, or as part of reasonably necessary steps taken for such an event, such as due diligence in a transaction. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is necessary or appropriate for national security, law enforcement, other matters of public importance or on a lawful basis.

V. How We Store Information and Keep It Secure

Information storage and security: We use cloud services provided by leading providers such as Alibaba Cloud and CloudFlare to host the information we collect, and use technical measures to protect your data. Although we make every effort to secure your information, no system is absolutely secure because of the inherent nature of the internet. We cannot guarantee that data remains absolutely intact during transmission over the internet or storage in our systems. We will do everything possible to prevent and defend against security breaches. If such an incident does occur, however, we will notify you as soon as possible within a reasonable time.

How long information is stored

How long information is stored depends on its type, as described in the following provisions. If you need data deleted and/or anonymized during your use of the Services, you must submit a written request. We will take reasonable steps to delete and/or anonymize your data from our systems and records. To ensure security, we will process your request after verifying your identity and complete the deletion and/or anonymization within 30 days. When the service term expires, the Services end early, including but not limited to termination by mutual agreement or for other reasons, or you fall into arrears, we will automatically downgrade you to a basic-edition team unless laws or regulations expressly provide otherwise, competent authorities require otherwise, or the parties agree otherwise. For basic-edition teams with no user login activity for 365 days, we will delete your business data within 30 days.

1 Account information: We retain your account information until you delete your account. We also retain certain necessary information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, support business operations, and continue developing and improving our Services. If we retain this information to improve Services and iterate products, we will de-identify the data and use it only for collective analysis, not analysis specifically directed at your personal data.

2 Information you share in our Services: If your account is deactivated or disabled, some of your information and content you provided will remain so that your team members or other users can fully use the Services. For example, we will continue to display comments and content you contributed to projects or tasks.

3 Marketing preference information: If you choose to receive marketing emails from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences unless you expressly request deletion. We retain information obtained from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period from its creation.

VI. Other Important Privacy Practices

Our products are suitable for use by individuals and organizations. Where the Services are provided to you through an organization, such as your employer, that organization is the administrator of the Services and is responsible for the end users and service sites under its control. In that case, please submit your data privacy requests to the administrator, because your use of the Services is subject to that organization's policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of the administering organization, which may differ from this Policy. Even if the Services are not currently administered by an organization, if you belong to a team administered by an organization or use an organization-provided email address, such as a work email address, to access the Services, that team's administrator or the owner of the domain associated with your organization's linked mobile phone number or email address, such as your employer, may take administrative control of your account and use our Services in the future. You will be notified if this happens. Task owners, project administrators and enterprise administrators can restrict your access and permissions to tasks, projects and enterprises. In some cases, enterprise administrators may also:

  • Require you to reset your account password;
  • Restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Services or your account;
  • Control your ability to edit, restrict, modify or delete account information;
  • Change your account information, including profile information or the email address associated with your account;
  • Access information in your account;
  • Enable or disable third-party applications;

If you do not want an administrator to control your account or use of the Services, you can leave enterprise teams, projects and tasks and remove from your account any email address containing a domain owned or controlled by an administrator. Once an administrator asserts control over your account or use of the Services, you may be unable to change the email address associated with your account without the administrator's approval. Please contact your organization or consult your administrator's organizational policies for more information.

VII. Our Privacy Policy Concerning Children

_The Services are not directed at children under 14_. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If we discover that a child under 14 has provided personal information to us, we will take all reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible. If you are a minor's guardian and the minor uses our Services or provides personal information to us without your consent, please contact our support service promptly.

VIII. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When revising these provisions, we will publicly announce the revisions three days before they formally take effect. We will also promptly update the “Updated” and “Effective” dates at the top of these provisions. We will post any changes to the Privacy Policy on this page. If changes are significant, we will notify you by adding a notice to the service homepage or login screen or by sending you an email. We will also keep previous versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our Privacy Policy when using the Services; staying informed about our information practices can help you better protect your privacy. If you disagree with any changes to this Privacy Policy, you must stop using the Services and deactivate your account. Continuing to use the Services constitutes your acceptance of changes to the Privacy Policy.
